3. What "Consistent" Actually Means

Consistency in content marketing doesn't mean publishing every single day. It means publishing on a predictable, sustainable schedule and not stopping. When each new post links to two or three related posts on your site, you create a web of connected content that search engines and AI tools navigate to form a comprehensive picture of your expertise. 5. Measuring Flywheel Progress

The metrics that matter for a content flywheel are different from the metrics that matter for paid advertising. Instead of cost-per-click and impression share, you're watching organic traffic growth month over month, keyword rankings trending upward, pages per session increasing, and the number of posts generating consistent monthly traffic. Set a twelve-month baseline and measure at ninety-day intervals. If your organic traffic is growing — even slowly — the flywheel is working.
